A SMARTER APPROACH TO VISITOR SCREENING AND IDENTIFICATION
The basic Hall Pass visitor identification system consists of powerful yet easy-to-use computer software, a compact scanner, unlimited access to our sex offender database, and a versatile visitor badge printer that can be used at schools, other educational facilities, day care centers, or off-campus events.
Hall Pass Features:
- Reads drivers' licenses, green cards and military identification cards
- Logs all visitors with "in" and "out" times
- Verifies name/address of visitors and authenticity of ID provided
- Screens visitors against most current national sex offender database
- Notifies law enforcement and office immediately of identified offenders
- Generates either standard visitor photo badges or unique time-limited photo badges
- Creates searchable log of visitors on campus at any date or time
- Stores identity image and information in secure Tier One data center
- Provides multiple views and reporting capabilities
- Works from any PC or laptop, on-campus or off-site
- Can be installed at a single school or on a school district network
How it works:
- All visitors entering the facility must present their driver's license or Government issued identification card for processing utilizing the Hall Pass scanner.
- The Hall Pass software extracts the visitor's photograph and identification details from the license or ID, then sends the data to CompuData's servers.
- The visitor's data is compared with records in the proprietary Hall Pass national sex offender registry.
- The front office staff's computer screen shows the visitor's name, photograph and date of birth extracted from the visitor's driver's license or government-issued ID.
- If there is a match between the visitor and the sex offender registry, the staff person will see a red "fail" button on the screen, plus the sex offender's photograph and offense details from the registry for additional confirmation.
- In the case of a match, the system immediately alerts designated school administrators, security officials and/or law enforcement authorities via automated voice mail, email or text message.
- If there is a green (pass) button on-screen, visitors are cleared and issued a badge showing their name and photograph, plus the date and the time in bold type.
- If the school uses the special time-limited badges, a large red stop sign automatically appears on the badge after 12 hours. This feature is a more visible way to prevent reuse of badges and prompt appropriate intervention.
- All visitor data is preserved in the Hall Pass database at CompuData's secure data center where it can be accessed at any time by administrators and organized in a variety of reports.

QuickPass is a radio frequency identification (RFID) key fob that is preloaded with the identification information, including a photograph, of your designated frequent visitors. Your QuickPass visitors simply hold their key fob up to the QuickPass reader, and it checks them against the sex offender system.
